Elbbin & Nibble, an established Kenyan snack company, was expanding their product line to enter the competitive cereal market. They needed a comprehensive brand design that would appeal to their target audience while standing out on crowded retail shelves.
The challenge was to create a cohesive visual identity that would work across six different cereal products, each requiring its own unique character and personality while maintaining brand consistency. The design needed to resonate with the Kenyan market while having potential for broader African appeal.
Our approach focused on developing a vibrant, playful brand identity that would appeal to both children and parents. We created a series of six distinctive character mascots, each representing a different cereal variety and embodying specific nutritional benefits or flavor profiles.
The packaging design incorporated bright colors and engaging illustrations that highlighted the characters while clearly communicating product information. We developed a consistent layout system that allowed each product to have its own identity while remaining unmistakably part of the Elbbin & Nibble family.
The project is ongoing, with initial designs receiving positive feedback from market testing. We continue to refine the character designs and packaging elements as the product line moves toward production and market launch.
